Hi! My name is Rita and I am a passionate knitter, yarnlover and knitwear designer from the beautiful black forest in Germany. 

My knitting journey started in my early childhood as my mom taught me the basics of knitting when I was about six years old. Every now and then through the years I picked up the needles and knitted socks with my mom. She gave me tips and encouraged me to keep up.
 

One day in 2009 I stumbled over a Youtube video with a tutorial for a baby jacket – and that was the moment when knitting became a passion! Now, 14 years later, there has hardly been a day without knitting needles in my hands.

Designing my own knitwear fashion has been a long-time dream of mine. In 2021 I published my very first pattern, the „Summer Lines Top“ and I couldn´t be happier to have taken this step. Having a vague image in my head, looking for patterns, experimenting with different fibers, mastering the calculations, knitting the first stitches and ultimately creating a new garment - these are all the things that make my heart beat faster. No words can describe the feeling when your patterns inspire other people, to see them knitting your designs and to receive all the kind and lovely comments.

It´s magical! The best compliment a designer can get!
